Save the date info:  SLHTA Members are advised of the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s 6^th Human Resources Conference to be held in Barbados on 2-4 November, 2011.  The conference is being presented in collaboration with the University of the West Indies, Barbados and the Barbados Community College Hospitality Institute.  The theme for this year is “Enhancing Caribbean Human Resources through Partnerships & Innovation”. Topics this year include diversity for competitiveness; effective leadership and employee engagement; collaboration and leveraging resources across boundaries; recognizing and nurturing leadership at all levels of the organization.
