St. Lucia
Known only by a few travellers, St. Lucia is a small island paradise found 13º 53' North of the Equator
and 60º 68' West of Greenwich. The island has two airports; the George F.L Charles Airport in Vigie,
which is towards the north of the island, and the Hewanorra International Airport in Vieux Fort which
is towards the south of the Island. The majority of travellers visiting St. Lucia outside of the Caribbean
are more than likely to arrive at the Hewanorra International Airport, especially if it is a direct flight.
While travelers from the Caribbean would most like arrive at the smaller George F.L Charles airport.
Apart from the regular flights coming into St. Lucia, there is also a regualr ferry coming in from
Martinique; an Island just north of St Lucia.
All in all, How you get to St. Lucia is mostly dependant on where you’re coming from.
